1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of 5CLUES, a daily movie and TV show guessing game available at 5clues.xyz. The Game is provided by Fatih Özata ("we", "us", or "our"). We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

2. Use of the Game

• You may use 5CLUES for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate interactions with the Game.
• You must not use the Game in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its availability.
• One puzzle is available per day per locale. Attempting to circumvent this limitation is prohibited.
• The Game is intended for users aged 13 and older.

3. Intellectual Property

Movie and TV show data (titles, release years, cast, crew, genres, and related metadata) are sourced from public movie databases under their respective terms of service. All such data remains the property of their respective rights holders. The 5CLUES name, logo, game mechanics, and original content are the intellectual property of Fatih Özata and may not be reproduced without written permission.

4. Data Sources

Movie and TV show information, images, and related media displayed in 5CLUES are sourced from public movie databases. We do not claim ownership over any such data. All third-party data is used in accordance with the applicable terms of use of each data provider.

5. User Conduct

• You agree not to share puzzle solutions publicly in a way that spoils the daily game for other users.
• You agree not to attempt to gain unfair advantages through technical means.
• You agree not to impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity.
• You agree not to use the Game for any unlawful purpose.

6. Privacy

We do not require account registration to play 5CLUES. Game state and statistics are stored locally in your browser. We may use anonymised analytics to understand how the Game is used. By using the Game, you agree to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Game will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected. Daily puzzles are curated to the best of our ability, but we make no guarantee of factual accuracy of third-party data sources.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fatih Özata shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Game. Our total liability for any claim related to the Game shall not exceed €10 (ten euros).

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
